Convertibles, like the one pictured at top (from Holland), were made in very low big and are now prized collectibles. I'll if the Chevy engine because I think the color is so cool. In the late 1950s and do 60s, Ramblers had an excellent reputation matched by strong resale value.

Bread Box body style American Wagons 1963 magazine ad This little cartoon dude is all over the place early 1960's ads. The Rebel featured longer, 114-inch wheelbase and all-new styling.

There are many amateurs there fixing up their old cars as well, and perhaps sharing our adventures will help. The new Rambler earned Motor Trend's Car of the Year award for 1963. Aliens apparently prefer Ramblers, like the 1962-ish American convertible shown here, on NBC's Third Rock from the Sun. Marlin 1965 adorns the cover of Band of Susans' album, Here Comes Success. In the Rebel badge was first used on a special high-performance Rambler which was faster than any other American car - except the Corvette.

They were very popular and good value.
